Hello Everyone,

Well, finally after the rain let up here for a few minutes in the northwest, I was able to snap some pictures of my 2008 GMC 3500 Dually. It's fully loaded with floor mats ;) ha ha ha....

I love this rig and I can't wait to pull my 35 foot Weekend Warrior next weekend. And what an improvement over my 2005 Superduty with factory oil leak.

Congrats. You are going to love this truck - even if it doesn't have that factory installed oil leak.

Would you have some interior pics to post? If I sell mine (with 20,000 on the odo not sure why I need to) was thinking about the metallic blue with camel interior but from what I can see of your truck that color looks great also...or is it the same. Thanks

You will love pulling the 35 foot WW with it- The truck will not even know it is there. I just switched from an LE3505 to an HKD 40 plus five feet (48 feet total) and the truck still just hums right along!

Love it. I have the same truck, color, SLT, nav. and blondstar except mine is the extended cab. Crew wouldn't fit in my garage. A little harder to keep clean than my 01 white dually, but looks great in black. Congrats and enjoy.

The one nice thing is when you are driving it and have to stop for diesel you won't have to fill her up with oil also.):h

Great truck. I've got the exact same one!! Just got it six weeks ago. I have 6k miles. I drove it from Dallas to Florida to fish a tournament. I pulled my 21 ft. Basscat boat and a Lance 1181 was sitting in the bed! This truck is awesome. I just got rid of an 05' PSD as well. I had four PSDs and this is my first Duramax. No comparison. This truck is sweet! I just got the Quadzilla Stealth2 and the 4" MBRP delivered tonight. It will be going on tomorrow. By the way, ......Did you put bigger tires on your truck??

I plan on putting bigger tires on in the future. Probably 265's with new 17 inch wheels. Then I'll need a Cognito leveling kit and so on and so on.....:D.

I told myself I wouldn't mod the motor. But I keep hearing a lot of good things about that 4" MBRP turbo back system.

Does that turbo back system maintain the Particle filter? Also when you put a new exhaust on the newer trucks does it mess with any warranty issues?

A turbo-back system removes the entire stock system.

Warranty depends on the dealership. Some don't like the system and TELL people to remove it. Others don't care either way. Some do and won't touch the truck.

Most of us will just retain the stock system for a 30-45 minute swap back into the truck for warranty. Re-tune the truck back to stock and go from there.
