Just like the title says. What order do you put these on your units? From the tank are you filtering and then lift pump or do you put the lift pump first and then the filter and is there any benefit to which order you use?

I would think filter then pump, as this insures filtered fuel through the pump, extending it's life.

depends if you run the kennedy setup there is one pump before the filter and one after.

If u have cold weather u might need the pump before the filter because the fuel gets thicker and restricts the flow. Most pumps do not have the greatest suction, but they can pump the fuel through the filter with no problem. With the suction restricted the pump can cavitate and burn itself up. Learned from experience.

good thought and being in the Sacramento area never have this issue. I've just always used a pre filter on my efi pumps. But never had to deal with the gelling issue. I do know the Airdog unit has the filters before the pump.

I'VE got the FASS setup with filters but I'm not for sure if it's filtered first or second, anyone know?

Just a little note, that if your not using a centrifugal pump, the pump wants a filtered fuel source to prolong it's life, but, the pump will also shed wear products, and you want those filtered before they get to the injection pump, and injectors. -Murph
