This will be the first time i've looked into upgrading to a bigger tire package. Currently I have an 2007.5+ 2500 cc, sb. No mods, with current stock 16" rims with 245's.

What are some good places to shop at??? Im wanting new rims as well and am under the impression that 18's with 285's will fit with just tb adjustments?

ANy and all help is appreciated guys!

Thanks.

Needs to be in Wheels/Tires section first off.

Where do you live? Depends on what kind of rims you want, etc...

You will have to move the TPMS if you have them to your new rims of you will have problems.

Ive never gone wrong with discount tire (americas tire center in other areas). Free rotation and rebalance. Killer warranty that you can add that if you shred a tire, you they put a new one on for you as long as you buy the warranty for the new tire. Costco has good prices on tires too if you arent interested in the insurance program at discount

First, find the wheel you want. period.. Then you shop for deals. Otherwise you will forget or confuse your self. I got mine from the WheelZone. They had the cheapest wheel that I chose, but they were higher on some wheels than other places.(Make a decision on your style, brand, size, first)-----------------OH yeah,, Welcome to the Diesel Place..

I liked Discount Tire cuz my buddy owned one in my town, but they do nice work and the warranty they give you is great. It is true Costco does have cheap tires and they can put them on for you there while you shop for 10 pound tub of butter.

I've used discount tire and had good results.. I bought a new set of wheels and tires today from Kentucky Custom Wheels.. Here's the kicker.. They gave me a price on tires that was $350 cheaper than Discount Tire Direct.. That's huge.. Then they sold me a set of KMC wheels $450 cheaper than the cheapest ebay seller. The guys name was Corey that dealt with me.. His number is 270-559-0698. It's worth the call.. I told him I would refer anyone I could to him.. Hope this helps..
