I noticed today that my truck hesitates when I really lay into it from a roll. Like if I need to pass someone and go more than 1/2 throttle and I hit the pedal quickly, not lay into it slow, the truck doesn't go, like there is no fuel.

But there is fuel because from a stop or any other time I can go WOT and it shows no sign of hesitation at all. It's only from a roll that this happens.

I just changed my fuel filter about 2 weeks ago, get my fuel at the same station every time.

The one thing I noticed though is that the holes on the top of the Filter I'm using now are totally difference from the ones on the Filter I used previously. I bought them the same day (bought 3) at NAPA, so they are Wix Filters, but the hole design on the top is totally different.

Any thoughts?

Well, it would be a PITA to do, but you could swap to one of the other filters and see if problem goes away...
