I don't have a chrome H2 to weigh, but I can help with the stock aluminum weight. I just weighed a bare stock PY0 aluminum rim. No weights, no tire, no center cap, but with a stock valve stem it was 16 lbs 14.6 oz on my digital shipping scale.

I used to have 5 used H2 rims, that I never mounted, as they were pretty jacked up on the outside of the bead(Tree Rash) and they DID NOT weigh anything near 80 Lbs, and I was lifting them with my left arm as my right arm had a broke wrist at the time... NO WAY they weigh in at 80 lbs.

Hope this might help. I weighed A new hummer takeoff with 315 tire 98 lbs. They are off A 2007 Limited Edition victory red, I think the rim is A little thicker than the standard polished or chromed wheel. The OEM wheel and tire weighed 50 lbs. they were not completly worn out.

I just won a set of Chrome H2's off of Ebay and the boxed weight without the cap was just under 37lbs. The shipping was $125.00 from NC to WA FedEx Ground.

I see you finally found a set of wheels...when are you getting them put on and what are you wrapping them in? I mean spring is pretty much here below 2500ft ASL :D

Since I can't make up my mind:banghead: as to Chrome or Machined I bought 2 sets. I went down and picked up a set (Machined) real cheap out of Seattle on the weekend and I have a Chrome set coming from NC in early March. When they get here I will decide which way to go and then will most likely sell the other set. I'm not a "change into winter wheels" type of person. I want to put one set of wheels on my rig and basically forget about them. I haven't decided on which make of tires yet, but they will definitely be 315/70/17's. I'm looking at BFG, Goodyear, Mickey Thompson and Cooper, however I'm open for suggestions for something in an A/T.

When you get your wheels and then decide which set you are going to use, let me know what you are going to do with the caps. I hung on to my caps when I bought mine and I want to see if I can do the spacer trick with another set of caps. Oh, BTW I'll be over on the LMD in the first weekend of march. I have to pick up an engine for my bike so if you want to see my truck with H2s on it, let me know. I've got panted wheels but at least it will give you an idea.

Yeah, that works for me. I only have the caps for the machined wheels, the chrome wheels I bought without the caps because he gave me a better deal and I don't need them anyway. You're welcome to the caps from the machined wheels if you want them. Send me an Email or PM when you're going to be over here and I will give you my phone number and we can tag up.

My painted H2s were 30 lbs and my Yokohama 315/70r17's were 60 lbs. Total weight mounted and balanced came in just over 91 lbs. with PYO centercap and lugs.
