Long story short, I got some fuel from work out of some of the old delivery trucks that were sold with lots of fuel left in them:D and some of the fuel had a blackish tint to it, like it was dirty. The shop boss told me that it was probably from a bad injector that let some oil get by and into the fuel tank. ? is will this hurt the engine any? is oil a good thing? I only got about 1-2 quarts of fuel into my tank b4 I noticed the color and stopped. Most of the trucks are early 90's late 80's gmc topkicks and chevy kodiaks and ford 4500's or something like that.

I'd steer right the hell away from that!! If you've got something else you can use it in, an older motor I MIGHT run it. Blackish tint can mean possible oil in the fuel, but it can also mean bacteria, algae, and a bunch of other bad shit. If it is the later of the two, it will clog up your filter, and can clog lines if it's bad. I'd use it in a bonfire or something. :) Just my .02

There is a funk that grows in diesel (actually at the water to diesel layer). It will clog your filters so fast it will make your wallet spin!
