Man I am gonna have to go with the Toyo MT. Wondering which one to order. 285/75/17 or 295/70/17. Pros and cons and which one will cause less problems and which will look better??? Thanks

The Toyo's are a great tire. What I like the most is that they aren't that loud, even at Interstate speeds. They are pretty expensive, but to get the best you have to pay a lot. You will not be disappointed with your decision. Good luck with them.

The 285's in this case are actually a little bit taller because of the profile 75 vs 70 and they are also a bit narrower, which would help with the "tuck" factor. You're looking at an Outside diameter (according to Toyo's website) of 34.1" for the 285 vs. 33.5" for the 295s
I didn't know the 285's were even available when I got mine or I would have went with them. I wonder if that is a relatively new size?
PS I love these tires, best I've ever had IMO.

**edit**
They are both 10 ply load range E as well, although the 295 is rated for 3970lbs max load and the 285 is 3195

What is the size difference between the 295/70/r17 or 285/75/r17?

Yea man, I appreciate it, I guess I'd be better off with the 295's when I get some H2's, I only have a 2500 LD, so my truck sits a bit shorter than the HD's.
