somewhere around here i saw that you wouldnt need them due to the spring setup. but i want to double check just to be sure

For sledpulling. I'm thinking the heavier springs will not need them but I don't know yet. My 2500 has them on it now and I may be pulling Sat.

Simular question,Do we need tie rod sleeves?Aren't the 3500's heavier built in the front end than a 2500.I know its cheap insurence ,but...

I had my whole front end replaced at about 35,000 miles. So I guess they are not that much heavier built.

Same tie rods and such. Yes,you need sleeves.

o yeh sleeves are a must. i just wasnt sure about spring clamps. im gonna go with kwnotpete, it wont hurt anything so why not

Tie rod sleeves are a must and if your going to make serious power you might want to look into the centerlink. They do change the tuning radius a little and the steering angles a little but really have not noticed much as far as tire wear problems so far. I would recommend traction bars as far as the rear end goes. I don't have any pics of mine up yet I have to get the truck cleaned due to the muddy Ohio weather right now. Wheel hop and axle wrap definatly happens if you are going to do sled pulling. I can verify that I pulled last fall without my traction bars and was getting axle wrap and started wheel hopping and had to get out of it. EFI Live tuning :)
