My 01 started to surge real bad and sure enough it was the fuel pressure reg. My question is, it has 105,xxx miles. Is there any way this would fall under the 200k emmisions warranty?

Sorry, but I believe your warr ended 5k miles ago. The 200k is pretty much just for injectors.

5yr or 100000 miles.

does it have the info on this in the owners manual

Mine wasnt covered on my 03 when it had 90k on it. Truck broke down on a Saturday afternoon and the 5years was up Sunday. Monday morning I got :nutkick:by the dealer. I bought it and did it myself.

Since you are out of warranty, try a quart of 2 stroke oil in the next tank of fuel, it made mine idle smooth and it has been that way since, over 18 months ago.

Just a thought.......and I do run 1 quart of 2 strike every 4th tank or so, with some Diesel Kleen in between for piece of mind, and I have 182,300 miles, and one set of injectors at 32,000 so I have over 150,000 miles on this set, I try to keep them clean and lubed.
