Been using the Prodigy on my 8K lb TT and works like a charm. Plug and play, easy to use.

The guy that was trying to sell me and dad a b&w hitch said he uses redline controllers. Anyone use those? Any good?

I have a buddy that uses redline to control vacuum over hydraulic trailer brakes. The redline controller he is using is tee'd directly into his truck brake line.

Yeah Brakesmart looks very interesting too. Looks like there's a lot more involved in the install but very promising.

i thought the same thing before I installed the brakesmart unit. It took me about 20 minutes. adding the tee into the brakeline was very easy, the kits fit and finish is perfect, instructions are also very good. bleeding the brakes was very simple, one quarter turn on the sensor while someone is pressing the brake pedal for about 2 seconds and you are done. :ro) i am very happy with the installation and operation.

Prodigy, especially nice if you get one as a "trade-in treasure":D

Got a Prodigy; will be going to a BrakeSmart in the spring after testing one in another truck.

"BRAKESMART" hands down the best I have used to date.

Buying a BrakeSmart this spring. Nothing like true proportional braking.:ro)

If you want the best (which is what the original question was) then Brakesmart. For me, out of the box, no adjustment, perfect. (Now if they'd just get the EGT/Boost module out!)

Jordan would be second, albiet pretty low-tech with a chain, and no compensation for resistance loading.

Inertia units -:t I've had various units including the Prodigy. No comparo to the Brakesmart.
