Has anyone done this and do you like the results? How hard is it to do? I am thinking about adding one from B&M when I changed the fluid and filter. I also need to adjust the tv cable.

Shift Kits are great on any transmission, especially the 700r4/4l60 . But i would get a kit from transgo along with some billet or corvette servos for more holding power.

I have been looking at them too for my 700r4, I found two diff. ones from TransGo. One is $35.00 shipped and the other is around $150 shipped.

Obviously their is a diff. in parts but is one really better fro the money then the other? I would ratehr get the $35.00 plus a corvette servo.

Shift kits do seem to help. They need to be properly installed (obviously) but they do quite a bit of good.

The more expensive kit includes a lot more. I notice a different accumulator piston, not to mention full gaskets etc.
