I have a 04.5 duramax can some one tell me how my Stock alarm system works? If im in the truck and lock it but unlock it by my hand the alarm dose not go off. it use to but it dont do it now . can some one tell me why this it or is there a settin i need to do thanks.

I have found that you need to what a few minutes, after arming it with you in, and then try to open the door. Give about 5 minutes.

I done this last night still want go off. I did cheek all the DIC setting ever thing is on. Any idiels what it could be. Or would it be best to take it to dealer? thanks

Did you click the remote lock button twice? Keys out of the ignition? When it honks at you is when it is set. If you just click it once it won't do it.

i would say to see if the stealer can check it out, especially if you are still under warantee.
