Just got the new engine in my CUCV 86 Want to know if there is any good way to bleed injection system? Or just do it like when you change the fuel water filter. Pull pink wire open valve on filter chank engine. Or could I take out the glow plugs and turn motor over until fuel comes out the holes? What will work the best dont want to cause any problems. Thanks for the advice I want to drive my truck again the hook up is almost done will be later today hope to be starting it tonight or tommoworrow. Any ideas on this? THanks

If it's a new engine leaving the plugs out would be a good idea. That would allow the engine to build up some oil pressure while you are bleeding the air out. Fill filter and leave the lines loose at the injectors. Spin till fuel comes out. Tighten lines and spin till fuel vapors come out plug holes. Reinstall plugs and crank engine.
