Was wondering what the difference is if you only buy the shroud or a whole turbo upgrade for 7.3 2003 with TS chip with BTS trans and Stage 2 AFE, IDM.

shroud??? do you mean housing? if so is it for intake or exhaust side. please give more details

Sorry about that, yes i mean housing, and was wondering for both the intake and exhaust sides.

A buddy of mine is running a van turbo with a ported compressor shroud and a Wicked wheel on his 2000 PSD. What a big difference and at half the cost of an ATS BB turbo.I can get you more specifics if your interested.

What is a van turbo and what kind of ported shroud and compressor wheel is he running. Any extra info. would be appreciated.

Here's what i've got so far. He used a 99 1/2 -03 7.3 van turbo,ATS ported compressor shroud,and a Wicked Wheel from :http://www.dieselsitetoo.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=218. Make sure to have the assembly balanced with the Wicked Wheel. You'll also need to get an adapter for your exhaust as the van turbo's outlet is different. If you have anymore questions just ask,I'll do what I can to answer them.
