this is my set up 16X8 Akuza rims with Toyo 285's. they do rub but only when in full turn and backing up, not sure why it only does it when backing up :confuzeld. not an issue when backing a trailer because the added wait squats the back just enough to keep them from rubbing. leveling kit in the near future:D

i think it depends on the width of the tire becuase i know people who run 285's on stock rims and dont rub. my rims are slightly wider so im assuming thats why i have some slight rubbing and i havent touched my T-bars so ride hight is stock. i think you can run 295's just fine but dont quote me on that:rolleyes:

The 295's are just wider than the 285's right? no differance in height?

BFG 285's on 16x8 in my garage. I cranked about 2 turns and did a little trimming and ran them with no problems. I have since cranked a few more turns and I'm thinking about 295's for my next tires. I think they'll fit fine.

Got some Michelin LTX MS 285x75R16's on my truck. See garage for pics. Sorry they are kinda far away. Front air dam was trimmed a little and they only rub in special cases like when offroad.

285's on 16x10's... I cranked the bars about 5-6 turns. It sits level front to rear. I do rub on the driver's side at full turn. I also trimmed the front bumper cover and the inside of the front mud flaps. Check my garage for pics.
