I broke my first and hopefully my last tie rod last night. I went out to "watch" some buddies of mine play in the mud. While trying to climb a reasonably steep hill the truck started to spin, bounced twice slightly, then the front wheels folded in.Left tie rod bent to a 45 degree angle then snapped off,Censored . Luckily we got it off the truck, took it back to my shop and had it mobile within 2 hrs. Needless to say I'll be ordering Fabtech's heavy duty steering on Monday.:D

Why not just use SuperDiesel's tie rod sleeves?

I would, but I need the Fabtech kit to reuse my dual stablizers. Plus it comes with heavy duty, rebuildable idler and pitman arms.
