So I've taken my truck in twice for injectors, so far. Each time paying the $100 deductible. I think they replaced 2 injectors each time. Well, I think its about time to take it back in and I'm sure they are only going to replace 1 or 2 injectors again. I haven't run a balance test recently, but I have noticed more blueish/white smoke, especially at start up, a little mpg decrease and overall it runs rougher.
So how are you guys getting all of them replaced at once. I have fought with the dealership and the warranty company, even though GM covers the special injector warranty. I've tried a different dealership, but all they tell me is if I'm within 15 miles of the dealership I bought it at, then I have to get it serviced there. Other than this, they are a pretty good dealership to work with. Its Tincher Chevrolet in Plattsmouth Nebraska, btw.
Do I need to talk to someone higher up in the chain of command or what?

Look for the TSB on it. It tells them to replace all 8 of them. Bring it in with you.

only under the certain cicumstances like high return rates or FUEL IN THE OIL. hint hint. but if there was fuel in the oil and the fuel pressure could still be ramped up to 160kpa still may not get all 8.

The dealer here told me that even if only one was bad, they would replace all eight. Also $100 deductible.

Can I check for high fuel return rate with efi live? Or how will I know for sure if I fall under the certain circumstances?

You are not stuck with the dealer that you bought it at. It is a gm problem, not a dealer problem. Any gm dealer should work on it. If you were asking for curtesy transportation, that may be why they would balk at it. Make sure that you take that edge off when it goes in, but you have probably already done that.

no, that can only be checked by disconnecting the return lines and measuring the amount of fuel returned in a certain amount of time.

he is also right a dealer cannot turn you away for service. but if they do a return test and it passes you may be responsible for paying the fee to do it usually about 2 hours.

I sold the edge and the predator, I now have EFI live, just haven't used it yet.
I'll see if I can find a better dealership to work with. Anybody have any recommendations in the Bellevue/Omaha area?
