: EGT's - One probe, two gauges?

I just installed the juice / attitude, and I have my a-pillar mount (pre-turbo) EGT gauge as well.

I want the a-pillar guage for ease of use (ability to see easily), as well as, in case I ever remove my attitude. Can I run both gauges off the one pre-turbo probe? This would be my first choice because I only want to drill once...

If I can't run both gauges off one probe, I have read of people installing one pre-turbo and one post-turbo. Are they waiting until the temps equalize before they shut down? or is it a specific temp? is there really a benefit? where is the best place to install? any pics/problems encountered?

BTW, I occasionally tow a 12k trailer.

thanks for the help and responses!

Seems like you can, at least with Autometer Isspro gauges. Here are a couple of threads to get you started. I think there are some more threads mentioning other brands. Try doing a search using the different gauge brand names and the word "probe" or some other reasonable criteria.

i ended up installing the attitude probe on the pass manifold, and the a-pillar gauge probe on the driver manifold. the driver manifold was a cinch, did it from underneath the vehicle, near the rear of the manifold...didn't even need to remove the wheel well cover.:ro)
