I just installed a boost stick and took the truck for a test drive. Lots of bark when I let off. I made no hard pulls. Its pouring down rain so I at most gave it 30% throtle. Im sure it will onley get worse if I was to let off at WOT. I installed it to help lower EGTs. Am I doing damage? Should I install a BOV?

Really weird, I ran the boost stick + 6gun for probably 20k miles. The only time it would bark for me was if it was hammered and the truck downshifted and I let off immediately after downshift.

I don't think the barks are good, but I think it's a wear and tear issue not an immediate you fooked your turbo type of deal.

I also don't know if you can even get a BOV on the VVT??? One suggestion is to maybe put the resonator back on?
