: Fix for turbo drain-tube oil leak?

My work truck is a 96 3500HD 6.5TD. I've got a good-sized leak from where the turbo drain tube meets the turbo. It'll leave a few 3-inch dia. oil spots overnight from where the oil runs down the tube and then onto the tie rod (beam front axle truck) and drips off of it. I've replaced the gasket once, which did little to help anything. There are no visible holes in the line, the turbo looks OK, etc. Is this a common problem for this truck, or am I just not doing something right? I really need a leak-free truck - this leaves a bad customer image. What's the secret to stopping this leak?

When you replaced the gasket, did you make sure you got all of the old one off? I just replaced mine, and it was a b**ch to get the remains of the old one off of the drain tube. (At least on mine, the tube just has a slot -- not a hole -- for the bolt on the side that's toward the engine, even though the gasket is symmetrical.)
