Several weeks ago at 32,000 miles, our diesel lost rpms; leveled out at 2,000 rpms, then started shutting off...limped in to out of down dealer and diagnostics showed that it needed new fuel filter. We went on our way, all seemed okay, then today 3,500 miles later, the same thing happened again while we were out of town...we limped in to yet another dealer and had another fuel filter put on...computer code readout..POCode: P0202, P2149...they wrote down to take to our local dealer on Monday.
When coming home (about 150 miles)...we would drive a few miles, then lose RPMs, dropped down to 2000 rpms, then wouldn't pull hardly at all...pulled off road, shut down, after starting up would run a while but only at 2000 rpm max...we continued this process to get home...took us 4.5 hours.
Have any of you techs noted this problem. This is our first diesel (bought to tow fifth wheel) and up until this started happening, we've been completely satisfied.
