I want to start off by saying thank you guys for all the info. I have been checking this site, TDR and DTR, since i got my truck. I have learned alot in 2 weeks. BUT i still dont know it all. I plan on in the near future doing some mods to the truck. I was thinking first off gutting the air tube and drillin a hole in the box for better airflow. I think Hoots has done this, does it help?? I also plan on takin the silencer ring out. I really want more turbo noise( that sound is awesome) I plan on gettin the Juice/attitude combo from edge and maybe straight pipin the exhaust. With these mods is there anything i should do to the tranny. I will use my truck for light pullin and daily driver. The EDGE box will come later but hopefully sooner that later. THe questions are mixed up in there somewhere, but the main thing is, am I headin in the right direction. THis is my first diesel and i dont want to Halfa$$ it. Thanks in advance:D ANy suggestions or opinions would be great.:D

in this order,
silencer ring
get a aftermarket intake
straight pipe
Tourque converter/valve body
some kind of Edge Prouduct lol
then injectors

if you plan on making power i would beef up the tranny first and get that out of the way instead of making the power and replacing the blown tranny.

but thats just my $.02

You need gauges an air intake kit=stage 2, 4in exhaust free flowing muffler. Then tranny stuff so it will all hold together then put a TST and a pressure box on with stock injectors.

TST is the way to go in my opinion. I love mine. :D

Oh -- and buy everything from John @ Floor-It. He'll do you right. ;)
