I've seen bubbles on my dipstick when I get the motor hot, shut it down and check. These are air bubbles and not glycol/water. The motor shows about 1/2 qt. low when checked just after shutting down and 1/5 low after letting the truck sit overnight.

Anyone else observe this?

oil level should be checked cold. This allows the oil to all drain back to the pan for an accurate reading.
