So, I've been thinking about getting my hands on one of these diesels, but I want to find some more info on them first.
1. Has anyone driven one and have an opinion to offer on it?
2. Does anyone know where I can find more info/reviews on it (preferably written by Jeep people)? I've looked at Edmunds and all the typical sites.
3. Also, does anyone know of a good website to find out some ideas on upgrades (lifts, bumpers, performance)? I can't find anything as far as performance upgrades.

Thanks.

there's a decent amount of performance upgrades available for the European market CRD's but nothing i can find here.

The motor and trans is build by Mercedes. I havent driven one, but there is one for sale at the dealership near me. Its a loaded 07 leftover going for about $32K on a sticker of well over $40k.

Just google for reviews, i found a decent number available. Looks like a pretty solid rig, since mercedes know what its doing when it comes to diesel engines.

As far as a grand cherokee site, try www.nagca.com thats the grand forum. for upgrades try like tellico4x4.com, mountain offroad enterprises, 4x4groupbuy.com for hard parts. i found a couple tuners on a quick search. here is one... www.tuningbox.com/ANG/marka.php
and here is the wk forum http://www.wkjeeps.com/wk_crd.htm
