I have a MacBook can I run EFIlive with it, or will it only work with a PC?

It only works with Windows. If you have one of he newer Mac's that are Intel based you can run windows on it as well as Mac OS and then you can use EFILive on it.

If it was bought new a month ago then it is intel based. I am in the same boat I have a Mac and want EFI Live. Mine is to old though. I haven't figured out what I'll do yet. I may just buy a cheap PC to run EFI.

Just run boot camp and put windows XP on it. Then you will be able to boot to mac os or windows. Best of all worlds.

I am also a Mac user and I bought a cheep little windows laptop to run my EFI Live from. Now when I upgrade my PowerBook to one of those new fangled ones with the Intel processor I will ditch the windows laptop and just install XP via Boot Camp!

If you have A macbook it will run windows. All macbooks have the intel processor. Does your macbook have the new operating system, Leopard? If it does then bootcamp is already on your computer, you will just need to "buy" a copy of windows. I'm running the HP Tuners software on my macbook pro without any problems. feel free to PM me if you have any questions about how to set it up.

Yes, parallels creates a "virtual pc" in the OS X environment. This works good in some cases, but I wouldn't be flashing the ECM of my truck with a virtural PC. Bootcamp runs a lot better for general use, and I believe it is more stable.
