I'm currently waiting for injectors, yesterday I noticed oil on my garage floor. there seems to be fuel in the oil (by smell and paper towel test). I drained 1 gallon out and checked the level. It looks to be 2/3 up the dip stick.
My question is, if I change the oil (only 500 KM since last change) can I keep driving it? and was my oil leak expected?
If I do drive it and the oil level raises, what am I doing to the engine?
thanks,
J.

Where was the oil leaking from! The fuel will thin out the oil and could cause bearing failure! I have even heard that the new fords were hydrolocking from bad injectors!
but if you replace the oil and drive it it should be ok, It,s when the truck sits that the oil is getting contaminated!

Let it sit!!!!!
I for one would not drive it knowing that it could cause long term damage from the fuel rusting the bearings.

Drive it to your dealer and leave it there. Somoene told me that you get injectors quicker if your truck is 'down'. Makes sense to me.

Drive it to your dealer and leave it there. .Exactly and if you call the 1-800 line they will even pay for your loaner car....or at least thats what a birdy told me;)

Eric, does this apply to extended warranty as well? I know caswell is out of the 3/36 or in his case 3/60km.

Yup, called the dealership 10 minutes ago and I already have a Buik Century waiting for me. I find it confusing that my service advisor didn't suggest that from the start..
Oh well, thanks a million guys for getting me straightened around.
