I have 03 dodge 3500 . 100,000 miles. ran out of fuel added fuel on start up engine raced . after turning key off engine continues to run very rough and white smoke. took to dodge dealership total night mare . all they want do is parts replace. with no idea of the problem the said they think all the injectors are stuck open. want to start there at a cost of $6000.00 bucks then see what happens. anybody got any ideas. i guess dodge has a strangle hold on all parts and info on the injection on this truck. thanks

CHange the fuel filter?

Yes I Changed The Filter Drained The Tank . Re Filled With Fresh Fuel. Purged System. Same Result I Finally Just Now Heard Back From Cummins And They Stated They Have Nothing To Do With The Injection System On The Engine So That Is Bad News. I Have Also Spoken With Alot Of People At Dodge That The Best I Can Tell Like To Guess Alot And Dont Know Much Ive Gotten Several Different Answers To The Same Question.
