Just wondering when gm stopped putting the under hood lamp. I also have 2001 chevy tahoe with a lamp, but not on my 2005 gmc cc diesel. What a cheap way for gm to save a buck or two.:mad:

Check gmdieseltech.com. he sells a kit to add a lamp. I know it's more expensive than if gm did it originally, but at least you'll have one.

2003 was the year for the GM removal program. They got rid of a few items that we took for granted.
