Want to put some Alcoa wheels on the 4x4 3500 that has 265/75/R16 tires. I see they advertise a 7" wide wheel but think I need an 7.5"-8" to meet Michelins specs? I dont want to use to narrow of a wheel as this vehicle will be pulling max.

How about a good source for some plain round hole Alcoa's?

All 265/75-16 I have data for (16 types incl. Michelin) state a width from 7-8" some even up to 9".

All tire manufacturers seem to recommend 7.0-8.0 inch wide rim for the LT265/75/16E. Search the web.
