This is really old stuff but might be different for the new LMM models. From what I have been able to find out, you can not get rid of the door chime if you leave the key in. I cut a little green wire on my 2005 and it was wonderful. I don't know how to get rid of the door chime on this 2007.5. Any help-please. Thanks. Bill

I remember seeing chime option in setup for door locks - lights - etc. Maybe on or off, didn't look yet.

On my '03, I just partially pull the key out of the lock. This stops the chime from annoying me if I leave the door open.
