Hey Guys.....
I've got a 03 w/ 130K miles...I limped the tranny in 5th...on the 85 tune..Now i was told by eric my tranny must be pretty weak already then...
Sooooo....I've got $1500...what should I do for my tranny w/ that cash? Is there anyway i could beef it for that much....and myabe enough to run the 120hp setting?Should i mayeb hold off and save a lil more?
Also I do alot of towing..nothing over 24K gross though....But i just wanna have fun,lol...so you guys are the masters....what do i do?

Drive to Suncoast, give them the $1500 and for the rest and everything else there is MasterCard.

Like Tony said, 1500 is a START.
Back the power down and be carefull until you can afford it. I would gather up at least 3500 or so. Sounds like alot of money and it is, but its cheaper then paying twice cause you didnt do enough. Always overbuild. You may only have the Pred now, but your habits will likely grow.
If you can make it and your somewhat close ( I dont know where hastings is) Take a drive to Fort Walton Beach in the pan handle on Feb 5 for the Suncoast Open house

:eek: You limped it in the 85. Disregard;) everything I typed in your 120 thread…the only thing your going to see is a light on the dash…back it down to the 65 or maybe even the 40 and start saving.

I have never ran over the 85hp setting in my truck. I don't tow anything except for my 700efi Polaris on my single axle trailer. Maybe I better back it down to the 65hp setting. What do you guys think? My truck has 34,500 miles.

I ran mine in the 120 for 5000 miles before I limped it (once). Since then I've been in the 85, close to 8000 miles now. No problems...Well I do, do a lot of day dreaming about a SCIII and recently a TTS, upgraded Tranni.
How many miles on your truck and what oil. Mobil 1 here.
