I bought a set of take offs 2 years ago. There was one wheel tire combo that just would not behave if put on the front. Felt like it was out of balance. Checked the balance many times but the combo always checked out OK. Have now installed new tires on my truck this past week. Seems like the same thing is happening. Has anyone heard of a defective alum. style wheel that would cause this? Possible problems with wheel? Other theories?

I've got an aluminum wheel thats bent on my old Astro van. It shakes at 70 mph where I want to run here in Ohio. I can watch it on the spin balancer and see it run out.

Could be bent. It might balance ok but that doesn't mean it aint bent. Take it to a machine shop and have them measure the runout.
