i had trouble with my d/max about a month ago i thought the fuel filter gelled the check engine light came on so i changed the fuel filter.the fuel was treated. when i went to drive the truck i could tell a differance. the truck had no power :mad: so i went to the stealer but their diesel doctor wasn't in to check it but they checked it any ways. they said it was injecter trouble but to come back in a week when the so called diesel doctor was in. well he said their was nothing wrong with it[bullsh!t].so today i go an haul 2ton of coal on my 5x10 trailer for my dad an the truck was helpless.i could not get above 58 mph on a little bit of a hill. i had a 2000 silverado with a 5.3 an it would run rings around this thing now:eek: . so i stop back at the stealer and he says come back next week. just wondering what you guys would do? i'm afaid there no stealer around this part of the country that knows what to do. this truck use to fly now it can't even crawl:eek: i asked to have it reflashed and the told me today that he can't do that if the check engine light is not on is that true? truck was built in late janurary 2004 i got it march 2004 thanks:confused:
