are all va 200hp boxes the same,
regardless of the vendor??i noticed alot
of different advertised hp for same box.
whats the best box to stack with va 200+?
i would like to override speedometer and tire size.
alos pros and cons of va 200+.
any input would be great.

Do you have your tranny done?

I believe there are 2 versions. One was called the 230 which was over rated from what I understand. Then there is the 200+ which is sometimes called the JK VA 200+ because John Kennedy helped tune it on his dyno. The 200+ is good for over 200 additional HP and is all around better then the so called 230.

You won't need to stack anything with Johns' VA. I ran the Attitude with it on lower levels and it was a monster, but ran like sheat. Again if your trans. is stock no need to go there.

their is a few of the va 200+ boxes out(old va and jk tunes), also their is a few custom tunes that are not related too va but using the smart box E to hold the tune, i know this because i have one,(looks to be a winner), as to the best programer to stack, power pup, hjat, work just fine, and should make close to 500hp

Speedo and tire size will have to be accomplished by some other means(i.e. predator and the likes). If you don't have the tranny done it will no longer be an option after getting on it, you'll HAVE to get it rebuilt. The VA+ box spools my motor past the shift points and hits the RPM defuel. Possibly due to my tire size not being adjusted. This box runs like a raped ape, definately not a disappointment by any means.
