Our trucks tend to get REAL dirty! Is it OK to wash down the engine on these trucks? Should we take any precautions when doing so?

I wash mine with no problems so wash away. dave

Hit it with the hose. Never had any problems.

there are a few things that need to be covered with plastic. do a search on wash and see what you find. someone had another thread about this.

On the passenger side of the motor there is a Bosch box that needs to be covered. It is near the front of the valve cover. I believe it even states on the box not to get it wet.
