Ok, I need to increase my fuel pressure on the regulator and i know its a size T10 star shaped tool, but there is a little pole type thing inside the hole that prevents the T10 from going in so i can turn it up? Whats the deal?

Justin---
GM doesn't want us to mess with the fuel pressure so they stuck a "tamper-proof" star in there..there is a tool made that'll do it, however. Try Snap-on Tools..

Justin, you need a tamper proof torx TH-10, the "H" is for hollow. They are availible.

Yeah you have to go slow and steady, using some penetrating lube helps. You can get a new one for under $100 and they are easy to change. Use some oil or vaseline on the new ones o-rings. Go slow on take out noting how the parts stack in behind the regulator and make sure the old small o-ring is out before going in with the new assembly. New ones usually are easyer to adjust as they havent taken a set or formed corrosion inside.
