My experience is that you notice it when you step on the peddle a bit. If you drive mellow you really don't notice the power (also depends on the setting). It's addictive though. It's relatively easy to remove for dealer service etc. Fuel mileage will improve a little if you can keep your foot from WOT. This is all just based on my experience. Experiences seem to vary for a lot of reasons.

You REALLY notice the abscence of a power box/programmer when you take it off!

Are you kidding ?
I don't know about a LLY but the grin is still on my phase from the the first time I installed a Juice box on my 02 and felt the power. :D :D
No difference with normal driving other than the truck trying to "jump out from under ya".

The power is definitely noticeable to me..even when I had my stock tranny and ran around on 2 and 3. Kennedy is right...take it off and you will notice it being gone.

Run around on Level 3 keep the foot out of it for the most part and get 17-18 MPG around town and 21-23 on the highway. Towing my 15k 38 foot Toy hauler mileage went from around 8 to 11 MPG and holds fourth and fifth gear on hills while set on Level 2 With Tow/Haul engaged. Turn it off and you will definately know.

If you don't already have gauges you might want to spring for the Attitude, as well. That will give you a bit more flexibility and lot more information. I already had gauges, so didn't get the 'Tude.

The difference in power is startling. It’s all very controllable and your truck will not loose its mild, Clark Kent, manners. Mine, which I’ve always thought was extremely smooth, now seems even more so. But when you lean on the loud peddle, the world sure as hell streams by in a hurry.

all the above is true.. power is noticable, mileage increases as long as you keep your foot out of it, you will really notice the "lack" of power with it removed, and going to the dealer is no biggy...2 minutes to remove the edge and back to stock.

I love mine and as someone said above..I chose the Attitude for the monitoring of boost, EGT's, and other stuff versus actual guages.

you will hear the diesel rattle a bit more with any programmer, but that is common as the power increases.

good luck and let us know how you like it!

Unless you plan on upgrading your trans you do not need the Attitude for the higher power levels. I chose not to run the attitude for two reasons: The first it is a PIA to pull the monitor out when taking it to the stealer for service, Second I read too many threads regarding Attitude Monitor failures (mostly LLY though). Just install a a Turbo Boost and EGT guage and you can manually monitor whats happening. The juice will still defuel on shifts and detects tranny slippage. Really the main thing you got to watch is EGT's above 1300. Stealer dd not mind the after market guages as they do not connect to the Juice. Juice unplugs in a few minutes and is easy to reinstall..If you want to install your own guages their are threads from Hoot who show you how to do it..That is if you want to be messing around with a $45,000 vehicle..
