Well, I think I am going to go to the H2 wheels and BF Goodrich 285/70 R17 tires.

I called Randy's Ring and Pinion to get an idea of what it would cost to go to 4.11 ratio ring and pinions and it actually was not to bad. I am not sure that it is something that I will need to do but it is always an option if need be down the road. The total cost for everything is about $800 which is not much when we consider that we will spend that for a Juice module. I am not sure what that will do to the factory warranty though. Guess that might be a concern.

Going to the 4.11 ratio will keep the RPM's almost exactly where they currently are with stock tires with the 285 tires.

Anybody done this or think that there are issues with this?

Curtisb, this issue has come up before and although the parts are not too expensive, apparently the job is a real bear. Even GM techs with experience and the special tools required to do the front end claimed that they wouldn't want to do it for love or money. If you decide to go through with it, please keep us informed.
