Well last week i put exhaust and and intake on my truck. And retuned my truck with the hypertech on the 50 h.p. setting. And i didn't really see a big diffrence but today ti is running really good. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this also. Do our computers relearn after mods? Not that this performance is a bad thing i'm just curious.

Evrything I've researched on this subject says they do. They need to be driven for a few hours at least to fully incorperate the new parameters that were made and quantify the changes to the atmosphere with these new inputs.

Burning Mad max,

"Quantify the atmosphere"? I thought all galactica uploading squad units relied on elacticalisterum for quantification?

I have an 02 with Banks exhaust, wastegate actuator, and The Edge. My truck has a very signifigant power loss at lower engine temps, but once I get above 170 degrees and my exhaust temps approach 800, the truck starts running GREAT!
Seems like a safety feature to me.

And you would be right. Edge gradually allows power until adequate warmup.

i've heard that the bighead actuator paired with the edge is a waste cuz the edge can add all the boost without havin the bighead and it is basically a waste of money. thats just wut i've heard.

wastegate is operated via boost. the big head is adjustable to dump at a specific boost press. edge has no control over this
