I'm now waiting for a set of injectors and was wondering what the wait time has been like lately. I'm in Canada so that might delay things a little.

Anyone recently get a set replaced? How long until the came in?

Less than two weeks for me,in the states it varies.

i have a 2003 duramax turbo, after reading about the fuel injectors, should i write to gm and tell them that i'm not happy to read about this problem and that they should contact us and repair this problem and there cost. any thoughts on writing to gm

It won't do you any good walter. GM isn't going to replace your injectors until they need replacing. Sit back and enjoy your truck. If it ever needs injectors, worry about it then.

ThanksI just got my truck back today. They ordered them on dec 24, but GM was closed down over the holidays. I took my Truck to plow and lost my spot to get them put in. As they had 2 topkicks in getting worked on. Think they got the injector in 3 days they said GM won't let them stock them.

My truck only has 8900 miles on it. a 03 built in 02 But it wasn't finished to Jan 04. dont know it sitting for over a year caused them to go early.

my buddy took his truck in friday, and picked up monday. no prior appointment

I just had mine done, all 8 about 2 weeks ago. It was over the New Year weekend. Took it in late Friday...right at closing. They called on Monday with the news, and had it done by Tuesday afternoon.

its been hit and miss. Some we can get them in a day, some we can get from other dealers, some are 5-6 weeks. No common thread.

guess I'll just sit tight and wait. Good to see everyone has been taken care of promply lately.

thanks for the replie max power, i love the truck, yet its a time boom, having fear towing long hauls to florida, better of flying renting a hotel.
