I'm going to be going through and completely painting all the trucks plastics. i was wondering if anyone has powder coated there front bumper white to match the summit white sierra and how it turned out? or should i have that painted the factory white color too?

Heres a new LMM GMC where a guy did his bumpers the same to match his truck. This was a while back and forgot the guys name but it turned out pretty nice.

Are you planning on painting the lower valance as well where the fogs go and the tow mirrors? Should look real nice when youre done.
Very clean truck you got with the lift and all, I like it.

thanks alot for that pic and the compliment. i can't wait to get mine done ever more now. ya the whole truck is going to be white, all the plastics including mirrors, valences, bumbers, even the chrome grille is gonna get its white treatment :D only thing shiny will be the billet grille.

Truck looks good with the bumper painted and the valance black also with the mirrors unpainted it gives it a nice contrast. Mirrors painted white would be overkill for me but the white handles look good.
The only issue with powder coat would be how different would the whites look. You wouldnt want a real bright white and then a pale off white.

thats what i was thinking about the powdercoat, its just nice how durable and cheaper it is to do. i'm trying to see what color whites they have and if it will match the summit white. if anyone has or seen a pic of an all whited out gmc, shoot it my way:D

White is probably the most difficult to match with paint, mixed to the proper factory code; very unlikely you will get a "perfect" match with powder coat. You might consider powder coat white as a "primer" then paint over that to match, that way if you get a scratch it won't be as noticable.
