ok i here everyone saying not o go over the 100-120 hp with out getting some tranny work.....well what will i need to do to the tranny to go to the 200-250 hp sttting on some of these new programers???? what is the week link in the 6 speed auto ......07.5 with the allison...what kind of money are we talking.....

i also her people saying not to do 4wd races without some mods to the tie rods....whats this all about???

tie rod sleeves are needed so you dont bend or break your tie rods

as far as the trans a new converter and clutches as well as a transgo are the basic things to make your tranny hold the power a sc3 or sc4 or ats has there kits as well depnds on budget and what you ultimatley want to do with your truck

FWIW I think you should stick to 75 hp or less over stock with a stock tranny if you want it to last very long. To get it to hold 200 + over stock will cost you roughly 3 to 5k. You're in Indy, Fleece Performance is really close and will get you taken care of. Other options include Merchant Automotive in Holland MI and Crank It Up Diesel in Urbana OH. I'm sure there are other options in the midwest as well.
