Can anyone tell me what TSB # 03-08-49-009 June 03 Revised oil pressure diagnostics says?

Also # 03-08-49-020 Nov 03 Instrument guages Inoperative?

Revised Engine Oil Pressure Gage Inaccurate or Inoperative Diagnostic Information

2003 GMC Sierra, Yukon, Yukon XL, Yukon Denali, Yukon Denali XL

This bulletin is being issued to revise the Engine Oil Pressure Gage Inaccurate or Inoperative diagnostic information in the Instrument Panel and Console sub-section of the Service Manual. Please replace the current information in the Service Manual with the following information.

The following information has been updated within SI. If you are using a paper version of this Service Manual, please make a reference to this bulletin on the affected page.

The specifications listed in the Values column for Step 2 have been revised. The oil pressure range for the 8.1L L18 engine should be 34-483 kPa (5-70 psi). For other engine applications, the pressure remains the same at 207-483 kPa (30-70 psi).

Condition

Some customers may comment that upon vehicle start-up, all instrument panel cluster gauges are inoperative.

Cause

During a cold start or low battery condition, a low voltage condition may cause gauges to freeze during crank cycle.

Correction



Important

DO NOT REPLACE the following clusters unless a reprogram does not correct this condition.

A new service calibration has been released to correct this condition. Reprogram the IPC using the new service calibration, which was available from Techline starting November 3, 2003 on the TIS2000 version 11.5 or later. This calibration is an electronic calibration and is not available from GMSPO.
