Please replace the current information in the Service Manual with the following information. The following information has been updated within SI. If you are using a paper version of this Service Manual, please make a reference to this bulletin on the affected page. The specifications listed in the Values column for Step 2 have been revised. The oil pressure range for the 8.1L L18 engine should be 34-483 kPa (5-70 psi). For other engine applications, the pressure remains the same at 207-483 kPa (30-70 psi). Cause During a cold start or low battery condition, a low voltage condition may cause gauges to freeze during crank cycle. Reprogram the IPC using the new service calibration, which was available from Techline starting November 3, 2003 on the TIS2000 version 11.5 or later.
