Hey guys, can some of you post pics of the Pioneer Avic D3 mounted in the dash. I just bought Brimy's and was looking at the dash opening in the NBS. It appears like it's wider at the top then at the bottom? I didn't know if this was an optical illusion or was the case. Anyways, I jsut wanted to see that they do mount flush in there like they were on the Classics. Any info on which mounting kit you used, etc. would be great. I'm also looking for some help on which modules I need to keep my factory chimes, Onstar, etc. make my steering wheel controls work, and go with an upgraded Amp and subs. Thanks so much.

Pics in my garage. Technically, when you say NBS, you mean the 99-07 classic's. NNBS is what some refer to them as. I had a picture of one a few months ago that was in an 08 Tahoe. I'll see if I can find it.

JonyB,
You're the man! That's what I wanted to see! THanks. Which mounting kit did you use? Is the dash in the NNBS as easy to get apart as the old ones? I haven't tried to actually pull it apart, but it doesn't look like it's going to be very easy? IT's all one huge piece with the dash as it appears? Thanks.

That pictures was on avic411.com, not an install I did. It's a Chevy, it can't be hard to take apart. Although it may take a little more than 3 seconds like the last 3 body style's of trucks they had.
