I am looking for a dealer that knows about the september re-flash that takes care of the parking lot surge and smoke. I am hoping that someone in Utah has already gotten the re-flash and can tell me which dealer it was.

My dealer told me that they did it the last time I asked for it but there does not appear to be record of it in my warranty history and the truck does not seem to be any different, therefore I don't feel that I can trust them if I go back.

Thanks for the offer, PM me with your number or e-mail and maybe we can talk. the original dealer has always been good to me but I could not see any reference to the reflash in my warranty history (you can see it in the post called "how can I tell if I have the latest flash" in this section). I figure that if it is not listed then the dealer did not get paid for it, and if they did not get paid for it I don't think they would do it.

It would be nice to find out for sure.

I bought the truck from Young's Pontiac GMC in Layton, my sales guy was awsome. I have taken the truck to Murdock Chevrolet in Bountiful for service since I work a couple of blocks away. Murdock's has been great, I have bought vehicles from them forever, but I wanted the GMC this time.

The other service they have done for me has been great but they did not seem to want to mess with the re-flash in the first place, so I don't want to try and get them to check it for me. I would rather just get a second opinion.
