I am looking to get straight answers from duramax owners who are currently or have tried WVO conversions. Now is your chance to give your complete experience, good or bad. Please be specific as to what system and results.
Thank you

i'd be interested to hear this as well i'm scared to death to use that stuff because of how sensitive common rail is to debris, that and the fact i've already had a set of injectors put in....

I have run 25K on WVO with a Greasecar.com kit No issues at all. The key to making this work is having a filter system to get your WVO clean to ISO Dino fuel cleanliness. That is easier said than done but I have accomplised that and believe it is the key to not having issues. The earlier D maxs had injector issues with dirty Dino so it would be worse with WVO as well as heating issue on the FICH. 2006 that problem went a way with the interation of the FICH into the ECM. THe new designed Injectors on the 06 lbz is also an improvement. So unless you are willing to spend the $$$ to build a filteration system to get your VO clean to the proper ISO code then I would not do it. Good luck

i believe they will custom build a kit if you tell them what you have/want. my buddy's dad uses their kit on his diesel liberty and loves it!
