They arent power equipped nor are they heated. I want to swap them out for the power fold/turn signal/puddle lamp/heated/turn signal mirrors. The mirror control in my truck leads me to believe it is wired for the power extending and folding towing mirrors. Here is a pic of the control

If install the mirrors I described that I want will I be able to use all the functions? The truck has the LT package which I would assume would mean it is wired for the top of the line mirrors like I want. I just want to make sure before I order 700+$ mirrors then they not work or have to a bunch of wiring.

Where were you a month ago! I was looking to swap my power fold for a set like that! They should work fine. I swapped my old dually from the power extending to the power fold off my avalanche. The only thing that didn't work was the tilt down when it went into reverse. The puddle lights, power fold turn signal and heat all worked fine. This was an 03 dually LS and the mirrors came off my 04 avalanche LS.
I am still looking to trade my power/heated 08 mirrors for a set of tow mirrors.

I want the top of the line ones if I swap them out. I was looking through the instrument cluster options and it had the option about curb assist or whatever so that leads me to believe it is wired for all of that stuff....

power fold or power extend both used that switched
all 03-07 mirrors will work with it

So it will control the power fold correct and do the curb tilt thing? I know Im being redundant but I just want to make absolute certain for I spend the cash.

Went to put the new mirrors on that I purchased and it is not prewired for the lights. I traced the wires for the locks and everything all the way through the door jam then it curls up into the area where there is a fuse panel type cover that pops out of the dash. It is in the same location as the driverside fuse panel cover but obviously over on the passenger side. There looks to be two spots open in the what I would call the distribution block since other wiring harnesses plug into it. So to me it looks like I have to purchase a wiring harness to plug into that then plug into my mirror harness since the plug type is not the same coming off the mirror to go into the distribution block. Im going to get my buddy at the dealer to check it out for me in the morning but I was just wondering if anyone knew whether or not Im right in my assumption, Im impatient and cant wait.:)

if you have that style switch in the cab then the wires should be there in the door did you take the door panel all the way off and check inside to see if maybe the wires you need just feel down in the door or something also if you pull that switch out of the door if there isn't a harness plugged into it then yes you will have to buy a harness or a new switch
