Has anyone replaced the oil pressure gauge sending unit on a 2003 Duramax? I've got a new sending unit, I've located where it goes, but I can't even seem to get my hands in there to remove the connector...not to mention putting a wrench on it.

Is it easier removing the fender liner and coming in from the side instead of from underneath? Just looking for someone with some experience.

it isnt your oil pressure sender garanteed it is your gauge the little stepper motor went through the same thing

Actually, ktm85, it was the sending unit. I finally got in there and replaced it...now oil pressure reads what it used to. I was doubtful it was the cluster since the problem existed before and after my cluster was replaced for a tachometer issue.

So much for your guarantee...
