volumejunkie 02-04-2008, 03:27 PM Planning on swapping my pitman and idler out when i get time or it quits raining. Anybody know the torque specs. I'm replacing the whole idler assembly and pitman arm. Steering box specs would be nice if i need to tilt it to get my puller on. Thanks in advance guys. J06EQ 02-04-2008, 05:23 PM Idler Arm to Frame Bolt or Nut 99 N·m 73 lb ft Idler Arm to Relay Rod Nut 62 N·m 46 lb ft Pitman Arm to Relay Rod Nut 62 N·m 46 lb ft Pitman Arm to Steering Gear Nut 250 N·m 184 lb ft Gear To Frame Bolts (Non-Rack and Pinion) 150 N·m 110 lb ft I would also recomend cognito braces.
