I have seen several threads pertaining to this but never any real clarification so here goes... I have an Edge Evolution, which as most of you know, comes with a tow tune. I pull a 9,000 lb trailer and am unsure as to what would be the best tune to use as well as whether I should use the Tow/Haul button with it... Anyone else have answers to this? Any clarification would be great...

OK, I was able to search out a few answers.. Evidently, the Tow Tune for the Edge Evolution is not really a good tune for towing above 6,000 lbs (why they call it a tow tune is beyond me). I guess the answer is to use Level 1 tune and continue to use the Tow/Haul button. I am not exactly sure what the Tow/Haul mode actually does... If anyone else has answers on this, please share. Sorry for long winded threads, new to Diesel Place and and am still learning my way around...

I get better fuel economy and equal performance towing on level 1 with the EVO.

Tow/Haul raises shift points. More agressive grade branking and shifting.
